Proportional — APR from stake-weighted rewards. Larger validators receive more in absolute terms, but less per token.
Bonus — APR from the Nakamoto Bonus equal distribution. Each validator gets the same total bonus, so smaller validators get more per token.
Multiplier — Nakamoto Multiplier (K_NB). Values above 1.0 indicate the validator benefits from the bonus mechanism.
Stake Share — Validator's proportion of total bonded stake.
Confidence — How stable the APR is against additional delegations. 100 = very stable, 0 = highly sensitive.
Signal — Delegation impact on decentralization. Inside 1/3 = top validators controlling 1/3 of stake (consider delegating elsewhere). Outside = between 1/3 and top 20. Beyond top 20 = smaller validators (best for decentralization).
Score — Composite ranking: APR (51%) + Stake size (12%) + Stability (10%). Higher is better.

How Nakamoto Bonus Works

The Nakamoto Bonus is a unique reward mechanism in AtomOne that incentivizes decentralization.

Formula

issuance = supply × inflation

standard_reward = issuance × (1 − η) × stake / bonded
equal_bonus     = issuance × η / N

APR_validator = (standard_reward + equal_bonus) / stake
APR_delegator = APR_validator × (1 − commission)

Where:

η (eta) — Nakamoto Bonus coefficient (currently {ctx["eta"]:.4f})
N — number of active validators ({ctx["num_validators"]})
x — validator's share of bonded stake
commission — fixed 5% for all AtomOne validators

Key Insight

Smaller validators receive a higher Nakamoto Multiplier because the equal bonus tranche (η) is divided equally among all validators, regardless of stake. This means delegating to smaller validators yields higher APR.

K_NB = (1 − η) + η / (N × x)

The multiplier is highest for validators with small stake share (x), making them more attractive for delegators seeking maximum returns.

Disclaimer: APR values are estimated current protocol APR based on snapshot data. Actual realized APR depends on validator uptime, proposer rewards, transaction fees, and network parameters at time of reward distribution. Score is an off-chain recommendation heuristic, not part of the AtomOne protocol.
